Position Overview:
The VP of Sales is responsible for leading the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will oversee the sales strategy and execution, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling successful sales teams and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, including product, marketing, and operations.
- Provide sales forecasting and pipeline management to ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Establish and maintain sales processes, tools, and metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Hire, train, and develop sales professionals to build a high-performing sales team.
- Develop and implement compensation and incentive plans to motivate and reward sales performance.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful sales teams.
- 3+ years of experience in HubSpot
- Experience in Bootstrapped companies
- Experience in SAAS and e-commerce
- High volume SAAS experience (SMB and Enterprise)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve and exceed goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
