Founded in 2009, we are a premier supplier of shipping software for e-commerce sites, selling to both SMB and Enterprise customers. We have 50+ team members spread across the globe with 30+ members based in Austin, Texas. We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong collaborative mindset.
We’re looking for a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our fast-paced Engineering Team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong engineering mindset, ready to take ownership of our cloud systems, reference architectures, deployment processes, and landing zones. This role requires deep expertise in AWS, DevOps, and automation to navigate and optimize our complex environment.
Your Impact:
Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code(IaC) for cloud systems
Design, code, and provision solutions to improve cloud operations; provide services to engineering and QA teams.
Utilize, improve, and manage CICD pipelines for software application deployment across various environments
Collaborate with security operations to maintain proper security posture
Set up, configure, and maintain high availability in the public cloud
Develop and maintain robust observability and logging systems
Support and work alongside software engineers
Guide peer teams on best practices for infrastructure and application deployment.
Implement monitoring and logging standards for infrastructure and applications
Provide services and tools to the organization to reduce dependencies on the DevOps team.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years in Software Engineering or an equivalent role.
Strong background in software development and operations.
Extensive AWS experience, especially in multi-region/multi-tenant environments.
Technology:
Hands-on experience with databases, enterprise software, and eCommerce.
Proficient in containerized environments and application modernization.
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab.
Skilled in managing cloud systems using Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform).
Understanding of observability, incident response, and Linux/Unix systems.
AWS & Quality Focus:
Commitment to a test-driven, high-quality engineering culture.
Strong grasp of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.
Proactive mindset with expertise in software automation and production systems.

Logistics:
This is a full-time position working out of our Austin, TX office 2 days a week
